Tatyana Cristina

Tatyana Cristina (born 2001, Lisbon) is a Portuguese visual artist whose abstract mixed media work is a continuous exploration of painting as a means of expression and reflection. She delves into abstraction, drawing from visual memories, personal fascinations, and inner anxieties to shape an imaginative world that is surreal, ironic, and at times carries a critical edge.

In the initial layers of paint, usually abstract in nature, forms begin to emerge, evoking landscapes, unexpected encounters, or references that are gradually revealed and emphasized throughout the creative process.
