But this vision is a lie.We won’t evolve into Spock-like beings of pure logic, detached from emotion. Instead, we are heading toward mountains of waste, rising cancer rates, somatic and psychological disorders, deepening social divides, human hacking, and the collapse of Earth’s ecological balance.The series takes its name from Donna Haraway’s concept of the Cthulhucene — the era beyond the Anthropocene, defined by entanglement, decay, and the consequences of our technological excess.
